The song gracious tempest 

- Usually I would relate a storm or raging sea to a negative event: worry, doubt, sadness that consuming me. A storm for me is a difficult time, one that I try to avoid and over come. 

Yet, the song states that his love is like a gracious tempest. 

Funnily enough, it is able to change my perspective of a storm. Storms are terrible. Storms are scary. But within the storm is where Christ can deliver us, teach us, and love us even more. Crash over you. Your love is like a storm, overwhelming and beautiful. And it replaces the storms within our heart - the fear. It destroys and removes it. It is a downpour. It is a new storm.
